How Smartphone Brands are kidding Pakistani Customers


Smartphones brands in pakistan are using different tactics to fool pakistani customers. 

They are launching phones one by one in a row with minor changes. Here we will let you know how they are cashing new model strategy to get more profit.


 

1.       For example Realme a sub brand of OPPO has launched Real C11 then C12 and again after a few weeks they introduce C17 last month and now they launched C15. There is no major upgrade in the phones just changing Ram and Rom, and chipset minor upgrades or degrades. Redmi and Vivo are also using same tactics. Like Vivo S1  and S1 pro and then just changing Ram introduce Vivo Y51.

If  a customer buy a phone and then goes to market after a few months then he is shocked his phone just few months used and in brand warranty is 3-4 generations old.

2.       Using Processors of low quality in phones and also there is no fixed price for processor which is a major component that makes a phone Value for money. For example Infinix and techno even other brands have also used P22 chipset in their phones which is a failed chipset and cannot justify a phone above 20k. Similarly Snapdragon 665 has become an old chipset in the era of Snapdragon 850. Vivo used it in its latest phone Vivo V20SE priced at 45999. The same chipset was used in Realme 5i priced at 22k only.  There is no price strategy in case of Processor.

 

3.        Price cuts is the most crucial and pathetic stunt of Chinese brands in pakistan. Firstly they create a suspense that during launch there will be a discount and give away. Whereas reality is that there is no discount and price is  almost the same and in some case it is above the offline market price. Secondly they set a high price for their phones and when they saw that there phone is not selling at this price they made a price cut. Now a customer who have bought the phone at higher price who is reponsible for it. When the same customer went to market to selling its phone then he is told that your phone brand has made a price cut and now it is available at lower price.

 

Now a trend is also getting famous that Customers thinks many times that getting a phone early is risky so waiting for a few months after lauch will be fruitfull.

4.       Phone camera megapixel is another blunders of smartphone brands.  There is a race of  using four and even five cameras with 48 megapixels and 64 megapixels cameras in their phones with just 2megapixel and 5 to 8 megapixel camera lens for depth sensors etc. They are focusing numbers not quality. Google pixel 4a camera is much better than all these phones cameras.

 

Through this blog i request all brands to stop fooling pakistani customer by using above malacious tactics. If they introduce new models then there must be real upgrade and must be priced at a price where there should not be a need for price cuts.
